Omar Effendi Department Store (previously Orosdi-Back), built in 1909 after the design of the French architect Raoul Brandon, a model of the Neo-Baroque architecture.

Groppi Building
21 Mahmud Bassouny Street, Downtown
Built in 1924 by the architect A. Castman, in a Neo-Baroque style for the businessman Jacques Achille Groppi. The ground floor hosts the famous Groppi restaurant and the tea room, today considered as the landmarks of Downtown Cairo.

Cairo Railways Station
Ramses Square
View of the Cairo Railways Station in Ramsis Square (previously Bab El-Hadid Square), built in 1893 by the Architect Edwin Patsy in a Neo-Mamluk style.

Al-Mahmal
A photo dating from the beginning of the 20th century showing the passage of the mahmal in front of the Mamluk mosque of Sultan Hassan built in the 14 th century in the area of Rumilah at the foot of the Citadel.
